MINDUSTRY MODS FULL
Sectors that show full survivability without a plus sign are not completely safe against loss. If an enemy wave overpowers the defense in value, the sector is lost. The repair contribution from menders will repair some or all of the damage. Damage caused by enemy waves is randomised based on the similarity between both sides' power values. The attackers do not get a repair value calculated. A repair contribution is calculated for all menders along the ground route, this repair is subtracted from the enemy attack. Turrets along the ground route that have ammo add power values to the player's side. Each enemy wave is assigned a value based on the power of each unit. This is the shortest route for a Dagger to reach the core. A path for ground units is carved along the map. Item gain and spending is calculated in minute-by-minute batches.įor defending against waves on Serpulo, the algorithm uses this method to determine survivability. Since it is not possible to render tens of sectors in-game, Mindustry uses an algorithm to calculate these details instead. Sectors continue to produce resources and defend against waves in the background. On Erekir, core schematics are disabled and loadouts are fixed. A custom loadout is also available that allows you to start with up to half of the core's storage of each item these are all taken from the departure sector and can be limited in the case of insufficient resources. When launching on Serpulo, you will be asked to select a type of core equal to of lower than the departure sector's, or a core schematic that comes with pre-made blocks. If the in-game sector is away from a destination, a random valid sector will be used to source the launch instead. Numerical sectors can only launch from adjacent sectors, major or not. Major sectors (i.e those that are not just a number) can launch to any other major sector on the map. Launching into sectors requires certain conditions: On Serpulo only, enemy base sectors can send extra attack waves to adjacent captured sectors, threatening to remove them from your control.Īt any point (but preferably when the sector is captured), you can launch a core to a new sector, taking resources from the departure sector's core to start the process. Enemy base sectors have a base belonging to another faction, which must be completely destroyed to capture it. Regular sectors involve the player surviving a set number of waves before the sector is captured, at which point no additional enemies will come unless under some circumstances. They are further categorized as either regular sectors or enemy bases.
Procedurally-generated sectors are absent on Erekir. Broadly, they can be categorized into tech tree sectors, which are pre-defined maps that unlock more items in the tech tree, as well as procedurally-generated sectors that are there to harvest more resources from, but are not required for completion. Each available sector is either unoccupied or has an enemy base unoccupied sectors require surviving waves to capture, while the opponent's cores must be destroyed to obtain enemy base sectors. Sectors are defined as the 'levels' of the Campaign. Unless stated otherwise, all information below applies to both planets. To do this, produce the item using one of your item-producing blocks.Įach planet will have their separate tech tree, and any items that are shared between planets, such as Graphite, will not carry over. The resources you have across all controlled sectors contribute to a global items pool that can be spent on the tech tree. The Tech Tree is an interface where you can research new blocks to place down and expand your conquest of each planet. In addition, it is more polished and balanced. Although there is less content, the gameplay is much more structured and combat-focused, which is highly recommended for new players and those that enjoy other RTS games.
For players that return to Mindustry, this planet is recommended for being familiar.Įrekir is a new planet added in the latest major update, Version 7.0. It is more expansive and is in line with most multiplayer servers, but has weaker balance and less polish due to its age. Serpulo is the planet that the Mindustry campaign takes place on for most of its history. When starting the campaign for the first time, you will be prompted to choose which planet to begin in, although they can be switched at any time.
